Before you start

An edit can change pronunciation, vocal character, timing, or transitions. Listen before you choose. The pack buys generation attempts, rather than a guarantee of a particular sound.

File requirements, permissions, and preparation

Prepare your lyrics changer edit by choosing a file and listening to the original on your device. Mark one continuous passage using the waveform or the start and end controls. Add the new words, then review your selection and the current file requirements before you pay.

Selecting a local file in the lyrics changer does not upload it. Sign in with Google when you are ready to continue. You will confirm that you are an adult and have the permissions needed for the recording, music, lyrics, and voice use involved. Audio is sent for processing only after those steps and payment confirmation.

AI lyrics changer input limits: MP3 or PCM WAV, up to 25 MiB and 180 seconds. Choose one 3–15-second passage and enter up to 500 characters of English replacement lyrics. Your lyrics changer download is MP3. These are input limits, not a guarantee of a particular sound: singing, vocal character, timing and transitions can vary. Listen to your take before choosing it.

Standard lyric edit: 10 credits. One-time packs start at $6.99/30 credits and subscriptions at $14.99/month/80 credits. Full-track MP3 export is included. One-time credits last 12 months; subscription credits expire each monthly allocation cycle without rollover. Yearly plans bill upfront and issue credits monthly. Project media lasts 30 days from first server upload. Review the final payment total and renewal terms before paying. Existing Song Edit Packs retain their original terms. See pricing and refunds.

Keep your original file separate from the lyrics changer project. Each generated take is a separate version based on that source, so comparing or choosing a take does not overwrite your recording. The editor handles one region per generation; it does not build a sequence of multiple edits into the same song.

A real correction

Hear an AI lyrics changer sample

Compare the same 18-second passage. In this AI lyrics changer sample, “I leave a little lantern by the door” becomes “I keep a little lantern by the door.” Listen at 5.44–9.08 seconds for the changed line.

Edited passage

An internally generated test song, approved for public demonstration. This sample illustrates one accepted correction, rather than a guarantee for other songs. Each take is generated separately and can sound different. Listen for changes to the voice, timing, and transitions.

The problem

What does an AI lyrics changer do?

Edit the audio itself

Changing a lyric sheet cannot change a word already sung in a recording. A lyrics changer works on the audio: it generates a revised performance for the passage you select using your replacement text. The result is an audio take you can hear and compare.

Start with what you hear

That distinction matters when choosing a lyrics changer to correct an AI song. If only the displayed lyrics are wrong, editing the caption or lyric sheet may be enough. If the singer says the wrong word, the sound itself needs a new performance. Start by listening to the recording rather than judging from the text alone.

A focused correction workflow

You do not need to create a new song from a prompt or manage individual stems to use this lyrics changer. The task is narrower: prepare one correction, compare versions, and select a complete edited track. It is not a voice-cloning tool, an automatic lyric transcription service, or a full music production workspace.

How it works

How does the AI lyrics changer work?

1. Choose your phrase

In the lyrics changer, play the phrase with a little surrounding context. Start before the first sound you want changed and end after the final syllable. Use the time controls to adjust the selection, and check it again before requesting a generation. A waveform is a useful timing aid, but it cannot tell you exactly where every sung word begins.

Selection tips

Keep the replacement close to the rhythm of the original phrase. Similar syllable counts and stress can make the wording easier to fit. If a name is longer than the word it replaces, shortening the rest of the line may be a more workable correction than crowding extra syllables into the same beat.

2. Compare your takes

Before each lyrics changer generation, review the selected passage, replacement text, and attempt balance. A new request reserves one attempt while processing. Once a complete result passes technical checks and is available as a take, that attempt is used.

What to listen for

Compare the take with your original: listen to the words, the delivery, and both transitions around the edit. You can choose a take or explicitly request another version while attempts remain. Replaying a preview, switching the selected take, refreshing the page, or downloading an existing result does not create another generation.

3. Download the full song

Your selected take determines the full-track download. Play the complete result before exporting, including the beginning, the ending, and any section you want to preserve. A passage that sounds promising on its own may feel different in the context of the song.

Export and access details

Full export from the lyrics changer is included in the pack. There is no separate fee revealed after you choose a take. Downloading the same retained file again does not use another attempt. Save your copy before the project deadline shown in My Edits; this service is not a long-term backup for your music.

For creators

Who is this lyrics changer for?

Fix an AI song’s wrong word

A lyrics changer may suit you when you like the arrangement and most of the performance, but a word is missing, mispronounced, or different from your lyric. Work with the complete phrase containing the mistake. Trying to isolate a single consonant too tightly can leave too little context for a natural replacement.

Revise an original lyric

Use the lyrics changer to try a different name or phrase in an original or properly licensed song. Keep the voice and permission requirements in mind: having the audio file does not by itself authorize editing someone else's performance, and changing a name does not make an unauthorized recording yours to use.

Update an authorized custom song

For a custom song you have permission to edit, the lyrics changer lets you use credits to compare independent versions of an eligible source song. Each edit changes one region; attempts are not automatically combined into a final mix. Each new generation starts from the original source. Choose the single complete take you prefer rather than expecting earlier takes to be stacked together.

A focused workflow

Why choose a focused lyrics changer?

Compare with your original

Listen to the source and each independent take in one project. The lyrics changer keeps comparison separate from generation: replaying or selecting an existing take does not spend another attempt.

Full-track export included

Download the complete selected version, rather than only a short patch. The lyrics changer pack includes export, so there is no separate download purchase after you choose your take.

One-time packs or a monthly creative routine

Choose a one-time credit pack for occasional corrections or a Lite, Creator or Pro subscription for regular editing. Credits can be used across eligible song projects. One-time purchases do not renew; subscriptions renew until canceled. Neither option includes unlimited retries.

Your source stays separate

Each take begins from the same original. Your lyrics changer project does not overwrite your local source or combine earlier edits into later generations. Keep your original and save any result you want to retain.

Know your edit

What can a lyrics changer change?

What may sound different

Replacement lyrics can affect more than the words. A take may have different phrasing, breath, vowel sounds, vocal texture, timing, or a noticeable join. Music around the edit can also sound different. An AI lyrics changer cannot promise that the voice, melody, or backing will remain identical.

How to judge a take

Use lyrics changer comparisons to make a decision, rather than treating the first completed result as automatically ready to publish. Listen at normal volume, then try headphones if that helps you hear the join. Check both the selected region and nearby material. Do not turn up playback so far that loudness differences seem like quality improvements.

When to use another method

If all you need is a corrected caption, you do not need a lyrics changer: keep the existing audio. If you need several coordinated changes, precise multitrack control, or a new performance from the original singer, a recording or production workflow may be more appropriate. The correction guide explains how to choose a method.

Know what you’re buying

How do paid edits work?

Prepare for free

Explore — $0: play your original locally, mark a passage, and prepare replacement words. No AI generation is included. To change lyrics in a song, review the paid pack before requesting a take.

Your credits and billing

Choose a one-time credit pack from $6.99 or a subscription from $14.99/month. One standard lyric edit uses 10 credits. One-time credits last 12 months; subscription credits are issued monthly and expire each cycle without rollover. Yearly Creator and Pro options bill upfront and issue credits monthly. Review your final payment total and renewal terms in Stripe Checkout. Local playback and selection are free; AI generation requires credits.

One passage per attempt

To replace song lyrics, each request starts from your original source and uses one selected region. Attempts do not stack corrections into a single take.

If processing fails

A confirmed technical failure does not consume a completed-result attempt. We check the job and adjust the attempt balance separately from any cash refund. If a job's outcome is still unknown, its reservation stays visible while it is checked. Please use the existing job instead of submitting the same correction again.

Help with an unfulfilled pack

There are limits on processing retries. If the service cannot deliver the remaining part of your pack, we handle the unfulfilled portion through the refund policy. You do not need to buy another pack to resolve a platform failure. A technically complete take you simply prefer less does not automatically include a free new generation; quality problems can still be reported.

Project access

Your lyrics changer project window

30 days from first upload

Wallet credits have their own expiry; download retained project files within 30 days of the first server upload. Legacy Song Edit Packs retain their payment-based deadline. My Edits shows the project's exact deadline. A take generated near that deadline does not start a fresh 30-day window. Playing, downloading, or signing in again does not extend it.

Save your files in time

Deleting a lyrics changer project removes access sooner. A new link cannot restore media that has expired or been deleted. Download the result you want to keep, and retain your original source separately. Expiry or deletion does not silently resolve an outstanding billing or service complaint.

Online processing & privacy

The lyrics changer sends audio for processing through online service providers. Local file selection is only the preparation step, rather than a claim that all editing happens on your device. Read the Privacy Policy before uploading, and use the deletion controls in My Edits when you no longer need a project.

FAQ

AI lyrics changer FAQ

Can this lyrics changer change just one word?

You can aim to correct one word with the lyrics changer, but the request regenerates a selected passage around it. Choose a phrase with enough context and follow the range limits displayed in the editor. Exact single-word isolation and unchanged surrounding audio are not guaranteed.

Will the singer sound exactly the same?

The lyrics changer makes no identical-voice promise. The vocal character, timing, or nearby music can change. Compare the original and edited versions before selecting a take, and report an output that appears defective rather than assuming every playable file meets your needs.

Which files can I use?

Check the supported formats, file size, song length, and selection limits shown beside the lyrics changer editor. Those requirements are checked before generation. Use a song you have permission to upload and modify, including the necessary rights to its recording, composition, lyrics, and voice use.

Can I listen without paying?

You can listen to your original local file and prepare a selection in the lyrics changer before purchasing. That does not generate an AI-edited version of your own song. Any example presented on the site is identified separately from your file and does not establish what your result will sound like.

Do I pay again to download?

No separate lyrics changer export fee applies to your selected complete take. Re-downloading the same file is also included while the project remains accessible and the file is retained. A download does not start another generation or reset the project deadline.

Can I use the result commercially?

A lyrics changer result can be used commercially only if your existing rights and the applicable terms allow the intended use. Buying an edit does not grant permission to distribute someone else's music or voice. Review the permissions checklist and the relevant terms for your source, including any AI music platform that created it.
